Hello I want to prepare for the SCEA. Generally people say that it should be after SCJD. Is there any specific problem with my approach? I am a SCJP from May 4, 2001(Score 94%). Have a moderate level knowledge in J2EE including Servlets, JSP, EJB, RMI. Thanks in advance. ---------------- Hafizur Rahman SCJP

SCJD have nothing to do whith SCEA. It is a completly different scope. In SCJD you have to programm a 2 tier solution with a given pseudo database. The steps are 1. Correct given DB. Enhance given DB. 2. Write a server component which allows clients to access db using RMI or serealizied objects. 3. Write a client programm to access the db.
