When I go to roundup to play the game the applet does not load. I let the page sit there for about 5 minutes and I got nothing. Anybody else have this problem?

We need more info ... what OS / Browser versions are you using?
Pounding at a thick stone wall won't move it, sometimes, you need to step back to see the way around.

I'm using IE 5.5 and Windows 2000 Server. I have never had any problems loading applets in the past. All I get is the 'x' like when an image doesn't load on a web page.

Some suggestions that come to my mind - 1. If you are behind a proxy server, then you may have some problems. 2. Try resizing the browser window. 3. At the bottom do you see "Applet Started" or something like that? Currently I am on a Win 98 system (yeah, I know it old) using IE 5.5 and works fine for me. I did resize the window though. Also, if you see that the applet has started, then just click the mouse buttons on the window and see if the gave refresh's. Good luck. - satya
I am on my brower IE5.0 - Win98 also facing the exception Exception.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: QuizApplet.class and not able to play this game for the last few days . When i try to refresh again and again it shows the same error and on the top of the applet there's a two wheel vehicle on which many newspapers type things are lying on it. I just tried to explain all what happening here. Pls don't mind if it bothered you too much and if i exceed. Thank you very much to listen me. I tried it again and it works for me. Could you quit your browser (all windows) and restart it then try. Also it would be helpful if you could tell us at what stage this happens. You should be able to see messages at the bottom of your browser as the applet tries to start.... Wonder if Nathan could start? regds. - satya

I was able to get it started. I had to change a browser setting which was set to interpret <applet< tags with the java 2 1.3.1. I unchecked that option and the applet started. Can't believe I didn't think of that before. Thanks, Nathan

I'm actually playing the game right now. So far so good.... . Nathan
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
