Hi Roger, For RMI "behaviour" stands for the code that is passed too, not only variables (called "state"). Thomas.
I've been reading my free downloaded copy of Mastering EJB 2.0 Appendix A is a nice short discussion of this issue. I believe, Roman uses the analogy of pass by reference to to exporting the behavior.
