EJB Integration Tier,
Legacy Connectivity Tier,
EIS Integration Tier,
JCA Tier

Hi Timber,
EIS (Enterprise Information System) Integration tier. EIS can be DB, Legacy Application (CRM, ERP, ...).
I've never heard about the other expressions.
