Hi all, in Marc Cade's book JSP pages are displayed in Sequence and Component diagrams. I think it is not the job of an Architec or Designer to think about JSP pages. Only the Web Designer who designs the GUI knows what pages are needed, Furthermore including JSP pages in Sequence diagrams doesn't make them clearer, What do you think ? Is it OK to don't display JSP pages in Sequence diagrams. In Component diagrams I think it suffice to display one component and label it 'JSP pages Do' you agree ? Ralf
In my work I've seen JSPs included in sequence diagrams. A sequence diagram by definition details how operations are carried out -- what messages are sent and when. I think it's ok to show them here. Just my 2 cents.
