Can somebody tell me whether this Architect Certificate is all about J2EE, what is the prerequisite test for this certificate? I did visit Sun’s virtual path page, but didn’t get it. Please explain to me. Thanks a lot.

It's all about J2EE and more... Check out the following link to the exam objectives Good Luck!
I was reading a list of certifications and it seems the architech can make a difference from the programmer certification and the developer certication. Would I need to pass both programmer certification and developer certification in order to take the architech exam?

Two answers: There is no formal prerequisite for the SCEA exam. I think the first version of Part I is based upon EJB 1.1, but it seems that you can use EJB 2.0 for the project. Sun is going to be beta-testing the second version of the SCEA very *soon*, maybe beginning next month. I expect them to upgrade Part I to reflect EJB 2.0 and perhaps 2.1. Don't know what impact the change will have on the assignment.
