Hello Everyone, I have been doing java programming in my course work for last years. 3-4 months back I gave Sun Certification for programmers level and cleared it well. I am interested in giving a architect level exam (SCEA). Thought I do not have professional experince in designing, UML and EJBs, I have worked little bit in EJBs and am conversant with J2EE framework. Is it ok for me to directly study for SCEA.. Or should I just go for web component exam? how much time do u think, will take me to prepare... ? regards, Amit
You could take and pass either exam(s) you wanted. I think the SCWCD would be more applicable to your first programing gig than the architect exam. SCWCD is much easier than both the Programmer exam you have already passed and the Architect exams and project. You might consider the Develper cert as well.
