Hi Billy,
All the materials are well-researched.It's very up to date contents and definitely designed by experienced SCEA. It not only ensures your passing score but success with a higher score. Also it'll help you to design in real life projects.
But it doesn't give you any explicit guarantee. We don't believe in gimmic of Money Back or Guarantee like others. if you really know the topics covered in the guide you are done.
As it's written after a pretty expensive research. That's why it's bit expensive. But it worth buying.

Hmm.. I think it's quite expensive. Is there any feedback from people that have used your product? or is it a brand new product?

It's 100 bucks for part II.. it's big money.
You should provide a trial version or some parts of it for free, so people like me who like to buy it can review it before buying.

Working on Part2, I am more interested in tips about Sun's stylistic expectations; things like level of detail; documentation, etc. I am less interested in introductory materials.
I have looked at their demo. I congratulate these hardy authors for
their courage in presenting so much fine work.
My humble opinion of their demo for Part 2...
1. It seems to be a fine introductory-level guide on
sw architecture in general. For example the topic
"How to use J2EE patterns properly."
2. Their 5 levels don't correspond exactly to the J2EE blueprints
and other sources of multi-tier architecture. This makes me wonder.
3. The drawings appear to have been created using Powerpoint, or
something like that rather than a UML design tool. They appear
somewhat introductory. This makes me question how sophisticated the
content can be.
4. The sequence diagram in their demo fails to comply with
a certain UML rule, namely their omission of message numbers. UML-compliance
may be a Part 2 requirement.
Also, the using "new" is not a proper message name.
No "Client" object is present, which is unusual.
The controller object fails to demonstrate any of the ingredients of the
Application Controller design pattern, although since it does not use a stereotype, it would be hard to know the architect's intent. Nevertheless,
any "controller" would invoke operations; lacking that, if I were an examiner I would think the author didn't understand the basics.
"doProcesst" seems to be a miss-spelling (not quite compliant with
expectations that java naming conventions be used).
I must wonder how useful the product would be to my preparation
if the developers did not take the time to polish these demos.
Maybe this is how the authors passed their SCEA and I should learn
from their experiences.
I'll find out when I submit my work and will be surprised if I don't follow their style and fail.

The Demo of Part 3 seems very useful, however. It seems that any clues
about how to prepare for the essays would be worthwhile.
There are some problems that the authors should correct:
They wrote: "... Essay exam is very important to get a good score. It's a cross verification techniques ...."
There are two grammatical errors: Essay requires an article.
The plurality of "techniques" does not match the singular "It".
(Also, semantically, the sentence is a little off.)
They wrote: "...details of Step 3 which is carefully ...."
Again, the plurality of "details" does not match "is."
In contrast with the quality of language used by the authors, the list
of Objectives represents perfect English, indicating that it is a true
cut-and-paste copy from an authoritative source.
Well that's my humble impression. I hope this feedback will be useful.

I bought the step 1 mock exam for $50. It does help.
pro's:
Most mock exams cover too detailed/deeper topics compared to the authentic one. arc2pattern does not have this problem. it closely represents the real exam style.
You can expect support/response within one week.
con's:
quite a lot answers are wrong. i'd rather follow my own judgement and common sense instead of blindly follow their answers.

Hi Dennis,

I am using Arc2Patterns Step1 for my SCEA part 1. And I do have some problems with some of their answers. Could I send you email to discuss about them?

Thanks,

Ray
