Hi people Yestarday I sat the Sun Microsystems (310, 311) 310-061 essay exam at a prometric testing center after uploading the part2 assignment, today I checked my profile on the Prometric's website and under my candidate history it displays Exam status for 310-061 Failed instead of Tested. What the hell is going on can anyone help me and how can I solve this problem? I even got the exam score report printed out which says it takes 4 to 6 weeks for the result to come out, I spent over 1 hour typing lots words to answer the essay exam , it is not suppose to display Failed but Tested because thats what I saw from other people's post and thats what happened when I took SCJD's essay exam too. anyknow know whats happening please explain to me???
from what i red from those post it seems that the testing center or prometric has not uploaded the essay, but i took my SCJD essay exam at the exact same testing center last time and everything went fine, the following day it displays Tested in my candidate history on the prometric site, dont know why they screwed up this time, anyway I am gonna email a scanned picture of the essay exam score report and the screenshot i took after uploading the assignment to Sun to see if they got both part2 and 3.
Thanks to Billy Tsai. I have reason to be concerned about this; here's why... Just after an exam at my usual Prometric testing site, the manager and another employee engaged me in discussion about my good marks on the exams that they have noticed me taking recently (they can see the print out). That manager then asked for my resume, and asked if I would be interested in a job that a client of his company has. - Apparently his action was a result of merely seeing my certification marks. My point is that if he had instead seen a grade of "Fail" on one of my exams, I'm sure he would not have been so enthusiastic about my potential services. Thanks to Billy's warning about the false "failure" from the SCEA-part3, I will be able to explain that result to this manager in advance, before I take that exam in the near future. Although, I still hate to have to explain that Prometric's report is false. You don't want to be associated with anything negative or tedious explanations when you are under the hiring microscope. I do feel that Prometric should fix this problem by, at least, marking the exam as "Taken" rather than Fail. "Pass" would also be unacceptable for obvious reasons. Perhaps if we start alerting the managers at Prometric sites, they will wake up. Some people (not me) might even find a way to bring suit against Prometric over this matter.
