Hi All,
Is it necessary to create the class diagram in a technology independent way.But requiremnts says that the design should be J2ee.Also,I see many authors using session and entity beans in their class diagrams..
Appreciate your inputs.

You can show J2EE components in the component diagram and keep the class diagram specific to business entities. If you like, you can use stereotypes to show entity beans and session beans in the class diagram. In general try to keep the class diagram clutter free.
