Any idea how to make GIF/JPG files from Rational Rose tool?
I have another question too.
Actually I am using MagicDraw for making Class diagram and Component diagrams. For sequence diagram I am using Rational Rose. Will it be alright with the examiner? The reason is that I started with MagigDraw and completed Class and Component Diagrams. When I started with Sequence diagram with MAgicDraw I found out that I can't use more than 10 objects in the sequence diagram because it is evaluation version. Then I had to choose Rational Rose for Sequence diagram and I do not want to redo the class and component with Rose.

I had the same problem before. There is a tool called RoseGraphic, which converts your diagram to GIF/JPEG. As for the 2nd question, I am not quite sure. Good luck!

1. I have used a screen-capture tool such as PaintShop Pro. On M$ Windex platforms you can also press the Print Screen key) and then save as GIF in an image editing tool. You can/should also consider cropping the GIF to keep your JAR size smaller.
2. I recommend TogetherSoft's Command Center (now by Borland). It saves GIFs natively (bettern than Rational). Due to problems with Rational Rose, I switched to TogetherSoft during my Master's project. Together rules!
