Hi There,
I have been preparing for J2ee Enterprise Architect Part 1 since one year on and off as I didn't get any time to take the test. I have started regrouping my tutorial notes I collected since 2003 January. Does it still hold good? Are there any changes to the exam pattern and the objectives since July 2003?
Your views will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi John
No changes to the exam criteria so far, so your notes are still valid.
Regards, Andrew

I am new to this exam. Mark Cade's book talks only about Session/Entity beans. But the Paul Allen's Study Guide says that "The current version of the SCEA exam tests your knowledge of J2EE 1.3 API", on p:16.
So does the exam cover J2EE1.3(EJB2.0) or J2EE 1.2.1(EJB1.1)?
http://suned.sun.com/US/catalog/courses/CX-310-051.html
In the exam objectives, I couldn't find any mention of message-driven beans, but synchronous/asynchronous messaging with EJB is covered.

Section 9: Messaging
----------------------------------------------------------
1.Identify scenarios that are appropriate to implementation using
messaging, EJB, or both.
2. List benefits of synchronous and asynchronous messaging.
3. Select scenarios from a list that are appropriate to implementation
using synchronous and asynchronous messaging.

Can somebody tell me, if there are questions related to EJB2.0 in the part-I exam?
Can I submit my Part-II assignment using EJB2.0 technology?

Andrew,
I found your old post...

Maybe Paul Allen's book is incorrect?

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
