Hi,
In one of the mocks, it is said that RMI-IOOP does not support stub downloads. I am a little confused.
How stub classes that makes low level socket communications in EJB pass to the clients VM??
Thank you

Thanks Murat,
I understand stub but could not get what does it meant by (stub) download ??
Is it that when a client access, the required classes are downloaded ???
Can you throw some more light on this ...

What it meant was that you need to package the stubs (created by rmic) and they should be available to your application client on the client VM.

yeah RMI/IIOP doesnot support stub export/download
RMI/JRMP supports it
that is why u need put ejb 's stub file to client side. if your
client is a java application client which calls ejb

Hi,
Thank you for your response
Are there any application servers that use RMI/JRMP then? If possible can you tell the one or two names of app.servers that support and does not support JRMP?
Thanks,
Murat

Hi Murat,
I know JBoss would support JRMP/RMI.
Sun ONE uses IIOP.
