If you can wait until the weekend I will be able to give you my opinion on Whizlabs SCEA Simulator! I take the exam on Friday morning and will be more than happy to provide you with some feedback regarding whether or not I thought the product helped.

Regards,

F Ar,

I passed the entry exam this morning but found it quite difficult. I'm not sure whether or not the Whizlabs SCEA simulator was based on a previous collection of Sun SCEA part one exams but the real exam was definitely more difficult. However, saying that, I thought that some of the "Expert" questions in the Whizlabs SCEA simulator helped in some of the "easier" Sun questions. If anything, the simulator helps to focus you towards the style of questioning. One thing that was quite hard is that the questions really do need reading twice over, especially the multi-answer ones, and the 75 minute time limit in a test environment does put a little pressure on you.

I can't wait to get started on the assignment and will be downloading it sometime next week.

I took the part 1 exam about a week ago and I used Wizlabs as part of my mocks. I found them useful (but very expensive). However, I have to agree with Ian in that I found the real exam much harder than the mocks. However, I ended up with around the same marks!
