Hi,
I am not sure in the class diagram, if we are going to present a EJB, how should we do it? In RationalRose, it will gernerate all remoteinterface, homeinterface and Bean class itself, just want to make sure if this is right way to go.

Thanks
Naichen

I believe architecture level class diagram don't need to provide design level details, otherwise it will end up with hundreds of class/interfaces.

JOE, Thanks for your reply, I guess class diagram is tightly related to sequence diagram, then for sequence diagram, do we need to should those methods like jndi lookup and home.create()?

Also wondering if Rose is right tool to use, since if you want to draw EJB class diagram, after following its wizard, it automatically generates all home/remote interface, bean class, and primary key class optionally.

Thanks
Naichen

I am also trying to use Rational Rose for the class diagram and ran into the same problem when drawing EJB. I have decided to use a simple class with stereotype instead of using the J2EE/EJB in Rose. Will let u know more as I make some progress.
