In fact, there are differences between "altering" and "extending". I encourage you to read this old discussion about the topic. Few more things - Learn to use the "search" feature. You may not change the business domain model, nor may you extend it. Nor do you have to include it in your submission. You do have to include a class diagram, which need not (and, indeed, cannot) be completely consistent with the business domain model.
