New Years Resolution

I decided to take the SCEA qualification about 2 years ago and consequently purchased a couple of books:

Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for J2EE (Allen & Bambara) : McGraw Hill
Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for J2ee Technology: Study Guide (Cade & Roberts) : Sun

Unfortunately I never went on to actually take the exam. I've just decided to actually have a go this year (new years resolution and all that).

Can anyone tell me if these two publications are still relevant to the exam, or have they been superseded?

Thanks.

Keith,

These two books are just fine: My main book is of Allen & Bambara which covers well the material. However, the book doesn't seem to be supported well by the publishing house: I'm not aware of an errata page and so far I was not able to report about errata or get responses about issues.

The Cade book is being referred to quite often in this forum.

BTW, you can use the search engine of the site and see how many references you get for these books.

Regards,
Dan

The author of this book posted the errata in this thread.

Thank you Joyce for the information!

It's interesting that the errata for this book is still not posted on the Osborne site at http://www.osborne.com/errata/errata.shtml .

Dan
