Prep tips SCEA part 1

Hi!

Yesterday I passed part 1 (CX 310-051) with 91%.

Was surfing around a lot for good prep tips and mock exams. Still wondering how much about the different objectives I needed to know to pass the exam�
Now I know!... and would like to share it with you:

BTW, did you use HF EJB for this part I also? Cos I am planning to read that book again for the preparation of part I... :roll:

No havent read that one... I bought "Using Enterprise JavaBeans 2.0" by Cavaness and Keeton" 2 years ago and it was useful for this exam. I think its a good idea to brows through an EJB book before the exam when many questions on the test are about ejb and containers.
The life cycles specially are good to know in detail! Also stateless/statefull, CMP/BMP and CMT/BMT are important!

Congrats. The link for the mock exam (Javaqueries) is very useful.
Is this the only mock exam you have used for the preparation?

part 2 havent really started my planning for that yet. But the best way might be to download it and start from there...

There are 2 mock exams (2 X 48 questions) included with the study guide book (on a CD). Those I did. Also in the same quality as javaqueries. As u know there are some more around (which I also had a quick look at). Any way my point is that its more than enough to do the 6 tests at javaqueries. Other mock tests have more or less the same questions in a less appealing format/application.
