Hi, I am new to this certification world and I have around 4+ years of experience. I was wondering if I can get the SCEA certification. After going through all the links/sites, it is not clear to me whether there is any pre-requisite to this certification or not. I don't have any certifications as of now. I found out that below are the four exams that are conducted as part of this certification: (please correct me if I am wrong) Step 1 - Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition - Mulitple Choice exam (CX-310-051) Step 2 - Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition - Assignment (CX-310-300A) Step 3 - Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition - Essay Exam (CX-310-061) Can someone guide me if I can go ahead with this certification? Also will it really help (if I dont have any certifications already). Thanks Aditya

Aditya, No there is no pre-requisite to SCEA. You are correct, three exams. 1st is an objective test containing 48 questions. You need to pass by at least 68%. 2nd is an assignment. 3rd is an essay type exam. Search this forum and check SCEA Links. You will find all your answers
