I am looking into the fbn case.
I have a question about class diagram, how should I show the client (including web client and application client) in the class diagram? May I show it as a common class named "JSP client" or "swing client", or show it as a package? Or they will both be OK?

Thanks

What I think is :

Class diagram only consists only classes and their relationships. Client is not a class, in the case you explained. Hence, you don't show it in the class diagram.

James,

Search for Parag Doshi's notes on Class Diagram. CD should be technology neutral.

You can show both the clients and other technology components in your Component diagram

Thank you for your replies.

So if I don't show the JSP client and swing client in the class diagram, how could I describe the relation between client and the front controller or filter?
