This week's book giveaway is in the General Computing forum. We're giving away four copies of Arduino in Action and have Martin Evans, Joshua Noble, and Jordan Hochenbaum on-line! See this thread for details.
Hi, I try not to violate the posting policy, so I will try to address the problem I had as general as possible. I think my question is really related not getting what the meaning of domain models yet.
1) Say a domain model is defined, does that means that when you do your class diagram, the exactly same name and relationship that you defined in domain model must appears exactly?
For example, in the domain model, we have a car and an engine related to each other. Therefore, on the class diagram we have a class called Car and another class named engine, and both are related together as well. If i added any relationship that instead link car and engine together, I added something called InternalSystem, and have internalSystem relate car and engine together. will this be thought as changing the domain model?
2) Domain model are usually mapped to database schema; therefore, most of the domain objects are modelled with entity bean in J2EE sense. Is this view correct?
I tried to search more on this but I just given a definition of domain model, but most did not express how this is carried to class diagram.
