Hi,
I cleared part I yesterday with 83%.
I took exactly three weeks to prepare, started preparation on may1 and took the test on may 23.

My preparation was totally based around the Paul Allen, Joseph Bambara SCEA study guide.
The other book i used :
SCEA study guide - Mark Cade, Simon Roberts.

I found this article on uml useful :
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/rational/library/content/RationalEdge/sep04/bell/
Also i used the Ramu notes as a quick reference in the last minute.

The questions from Design pattern were simple, ejb was more focused on the lifecycle methods.
2 or 3 questions based on the applet combined with security model, connectivitiy to legacy.
2 direct questions from I18N and L10N.

Mock test in :
Javaqueries.com (6 test) and one in http://www.harishramchandani.com/

The link below has a good compilation of links need for scea part I preparation.
http://www.bm-one.com/Se/scea1.html

Thanks for all your contribution in the group.

Thanks,
Bala
