When do we use CMP over BMP ???
This is what I read :-
BMP- high performance, complex data types.
CMP- low performance, Standard data types.

Is this correct... I mean for EJB1.1 and EJB2.0 (I know scea-1 is still based on EJB1.1) ???

SCJP 1.4, SCWCD 1.4, SCBCD 1.3, SCEA

This is true only for EJB1.1 NOT for EJB 2.0 and above.

It is true for EJB1.1 and certainly (and hopefully) not for EJB2.0

Can someone please explain why it is not for EJB2.0?

Because as far as I'm concerned EJB2.x has gained a lot on reliability, performance and so forth. Further EJB2.0 can handle CMR (container managed relations). Relationships couldn't be done (so easily) with EJB1.1.

But we're all looking forward to EJB3.0 which changes the (EJB)-world entirely
