Hi,

I've around 5 and half yrs experience in J2EE technologies.

Is it mandatory that one needs to clear the SCJP exam, to be eligible to take the SCEA exam.

I didnt take the SCJP exam earlier.

Please suggest. I coudnt get any concrete information regarding the same on the net.

Thanks in adv

EJB 1.1 for part 1. You can use any version of J2EE for part 2.

Thanks Mark . Any news when it will be upgraded to EJB2.0. I gave SCBCD few days back and it covered EJB 2.0. Don't really feel like studying EJB1.1

thanks.

Don't worry, with the knowledge I had from SCBCD I scored 100% on both EJB Lifecycle model and EJB model .

My experience with Part I is that you don't really have to know EJB1.1 specifics. Most of the questions regard EJBs in general e.g. applicability or life cycle management and so forth.
