always the testing subject is ambiguous. especially for the EJB section. the boundary is 1.1 or 2.0(1)? java 5 came out, the SCJP also forward the new certification. so how about SCEA? anyone could tell me? thanks.

I think someone asks this every couple of weeks.

SCEA isn't going to be affected, from the looks of things, by the release of J2SE 5.0. There was talk last year of updating the SCEA (which currently uses, iirc, J2EE 1.2) to J2EE 1.4 for the Part I test, but nothing came of it.

(From talking to the certification folks at JavaOne, by the way, they have mentioned that they are looking at updating the test, perhaps after Java EE 5 is out in the marketplace. They've not yet decided how to handle updating the certifications when it comes to those already certified, though.)
