I followed UML Distilled by Martin Fowler. I found this book good for UML. Cheers, Gopi.

As per my opinion, for Beginnners , "Learn UML in 24 Hours" Techmedia Publication is very good book and sufficient for Part I. After reading this u may have a look at Fowlers book
