I recently got my SCWCD and SCBCD.Now I'm thinking of SCEA. Can I do this without doing SCJDWS. Are there any web service contents in any of the SCEA parts?
What is the best resource for finishing SCEA Part1?

Could someone advise please?

There are no pre-reqs for the SCEA, see the FAQ.
I think you'll be well prepared for many of the subjects in part 1 with your certification. There are a lot of EJB-questions. Some are like the once on the SCBCD, and some are a bit easier...
But there are a lot of other subjects you will need to read up on for part 1 (security, legacy connectivity etc...)

SCEA part I is easy. If you have completed SCBCD, then you should study the other subjects. I suggest you to read Mark Cades book as a guide to know what you must study beyond EJB.

But be aware that part II (and III) are easy for experienced developers and architects. It is not a matter of multiple-choice. You will have to produce an architecture for a "real" application.

If it serves you, please read my note
