Hi,

I am about to submit the assignment for 'Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for J2EE Technology (Step 2 of 3) (CX-310-300A) exam.
Sun says as follows inside the assigment.

***
When you have completed your solution, you should have an "index.html" that has your name, i.d., a link to the class diagram, a link to the component diagram, and a link to each of the sequence/collaboration diagrams. Build a jar archive that contains all html files. You must build a jar archive; do not send individual files.

The name of your submission jar archive file MUST be derived from your i.d.. (Note that in the United States, your i.d. is your 9-digit social security number, e.g. 555443333. Outside the U.S., your i.d. might be 9 digits, or it might be 2 characters followed by 7 digits, e.g. sp1234567.) Your archive filename MUST BE scea-AAAAAAAAA.jar, where AAAAAAAAA is your i.d..
***

I am confused as I am currently residing in United States. In above context, what is my ID? Is it my SSN / Prometric Candidate ID(SR*******) / Sun Candidate ID(SUN******)?

Thanks

Hi,

Very good question. The id I used was the prometric id - the one I logged on with to download the exam, but then I am from Australia and that was the only choice I had. I suggest you send them an email asking for clarification, saying just what you have posted here to the forum. They should be able to tell you.

I have sent a mail to SunCert@prometric.com only. No reply yet. Will let you know if I get any answer.

I have received prompt replies from them. I put "URGENT: xxxx" in my subject line.
Over the course of emails I got following emails

SunCert@thomson.com

If you have any questions, please contact Sun via e-mail to:
who2contact@central.sun.com. Please include your name and Prometric
Student ID.

scjd_payment@central.sun.com
registrars@sun.com

Trying sending to all of them and see if it helps.

Why would they need SSN? :-)

Here a guy suggests using Prometric ID.

Thanks Jeff for the different email IDs.
I got the reply by putting "URGENT:***" in subject.
They asked me to use scea-PROMETRIC_ID.

I submitted the asignment. As usual started looking into CertManager eventhough the result will come after 4 weeks.

Can you please let me know the URL of the cert site that you used to upload the assignment?

I tried the site below received from the previous assignment download email. It seemed ths site was down this weekend.

https://www.certmanager.net/~sun_s/assignment.html

I am still waiting for my upload right permission (I sent email last Thursday), but I am taking the part-3 exam on Monday. Hope it is ok to upload the assignment after the park 3 is taken.

Thomson is really not responding fast...

thanks!

Just in case someone has the same problem.

I received the response back from Thomson. The upload site URL is changed. See below:
