Hi All,

I would like to have your inputs regarding the SCEA certification:

Which version of each technology( Java, EJB, UML, JMS, ServLets, JSP) should be read ?

Help me please....

Hello Raja,

As stated by the SCEA FAQs:

The current exam is based on J2EE 1.2, which includes EJB 1.1

However, in this document they say that the exam does not focus on a particular J2EE version. It also says that the UML version the current exam is based is 1.x. I couldn't find anything related to versions in the exam objectives though.

Hope this helps.

You're welcome.
Further down that same document, on page 31 to be more precise, it states:
As mentioned earlier, the exam covers only EJB1.1 and not the latest versions.

Does that mean there isn't any questions about MDBs on the exam?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
