SCEA Part1 Cleared with 85%

Hi

Thanks everyone in this forum for their posts. I cleared SCEA Part 1 on 6 Jan 2006 with 85%. It was a nice experience.

Now moving towards Part 2 and 3.

Any help or suggestions regarding the same are welcome.

Can you share how you prepared?

Will you share me the Mock Exams that you tried before exam?

I studied for SCEA Part 1 for roughly 2 to 3 weeks.After giving the exam I felt I could have achieved more if I hadn�t overlooked on a few things. Here are my tips for the exam (in case you are planning for the same in the near future).

- Go through the SCEA Study Guide by Mark Cade thoroughly. It�s a nice and compact guide.

- I went through mock questions to get a feel of the exam. Go through the same.

- There are a lot of mocks if you search on Google but I found the below link to be the best mock (toughest too). Its an SCEA Mock Test Applet at http://www.moelholm.com/

-I had gone through UML Distilled Book once for concepts of UML.

-Also referred to SUN EJB Tutorial. http://java.sun.com/j2ee/tutorial/1_3-fcs/doc/EJBConcepts.html

Please let me know in case you need to know anything else.
