Hi all,

I'm currently using ArgoUML to draw all the diagrams required by the Part2, however, I'm not very satisfied with its' sequence diagram. For example, can't put an actor on it, the text is small and unconfigurable.

Can someone please recommend any handy free drawing tools for sequence diagrams?

Thanks in advance.

You may want to look at JUDE (the community edition is free). This is the site: http://jude.change-vision.com/jude-web/product/community.html

I'd recommend BOUML. It's incredibly lightweight and provides everything that you'll need and more.

I tried JUDE and found it much more cumbersome to work with than BOUML.

Of course, if your a sadist, you could use a Rational product...shouldn't they rename their products "Irrational"?

Hey

Try StarUML. It's a very good tool: http://staruml.sourceforge.net/en/

I am using Star UML and its easy to use.

SINCE some marks are allotted to the UML compliance, I hope all the tools mentioned are fully compliant..

I have the a question:
Some tool might give some feature which is not present in actual UML specs. If we use those, I am afraid if we would be losing marks.

Which tool is the best tool and is safe to use for the exam.

You may be in the right track, but if you sit there, you will get run over !!
