Yeepee! I passed Part 1. Thanks for all your help. I only got 77%. 5 mistakes from failing. I never thought I would pass since I only studied for less than a week. Thank God. These are the materials I used to study: IBM Java certification success, Part 4: SCEA (very useful for me) Cade's book (summarized version) Head First for Design Patterns (used when I have difficulty understanding some of the patterns) http://www.exforsys.com/certification/sun-certification.html Whizlabs SCEA Mock Exam Most of the questions were situational. Hope this helps.

Hi Mhike and Congratulation, 75 is good Score too !! I have a question for you please, where did you study EJB ? or do you have work experience using EJB ? or you just started learning EJB on Cade Book ? Did Whizlab helped you on passing the Real test ? Thank you so much in advance for your reply, Rania

You need to have basic hands-on experience with EJBs so you could understand what the book says. Whizlabs is useful because it will train you to make the right decisions on what j2ee technologies to use. You need to have the skill to identify when is it appropriate to use EJBs, JSPs, servlets, etc. It's not just about concepts. I have difficulty answering design pattern questions so I guess you should study harder on that aspect. Study how you would apply it in enterprise applications.
