On Dec 26, I went to Birmingbam Alabama to take part three of the exam. I was scheduled to take the exam today at 2:00 PM. When I got there (about 35 minutes early) the place was closed. I called the test site's number several times over the next 45 minutes, and left a messages. No one returned my call. I then spent the next 75 minutes on the phone to Prometric and Sun Training trying to get someone to help me. Prometric tried to reschedule the test, but there was nowhere to take it in Alabama, today. They opened a report, # 3320488. At first, the Sun representative told me to call Prometric again because they could do nothing about it. I did, and got the same results (surprise.) I called Sun Training again and the lady who answered (Susan) put me on hold and found out an email to email@example.com was my only way of contacting anyone who might be able to help. I also sent the email to SunBeta@Prometric.com but have had no replies from either as of yet. I would have taken the part 3 exam earlier, but I was in Hawaii on a long planned and "already paid for" vacation from 12/14/2007 thru 12/21/2007. My hope is that someone on this forum can help, or point me to someone who can. I spent too much time on this to have it end because of a problem on the part of the test givers.
I scheduled for Saturday the 22nd, a week in advance. On the evening of the 21st, I got an email from the site that said "oops, didn't realize we're closed that day." There were very few sites open in Toronto the weekend before Christmas, but I phoned prometric, and the squeezed me in somewhere.
Sorry your experience didn't work out for the better. I did manage to write part III. It wasn't too bad.
i had the same problem fortunately the test coordinator where i scheduled the exam (also on the last day) went to work even though the site is closed so that i can take the exam. try Certification Customer Service <firstname.lastname@example.org>.
