I completed SCBCD 5 last month.. I would like to know whether it is good to write SCEA 5 Part-I or SCDJWS.

Please let me know your opinion.

I think it's up to your interest.

SCDJWS is for Java Web Services developer/designer. SCEA is for Java EE architect.

IMHO, you will find the transition to SCEA 5 (coming from BCD 5) easier than with SCDJWS.

There are a lot of overlaps in the objectives of the 2 exams.

But of course, if your an experienced Web Service developer, then it shouldn't matter to you anyway.

SCJP 1.2 (89%), SCWCD 1.3 (94%), IBM 486 (90%), SCJA Beta (96%), SCEA (91% / 77%), SCEA 5 P1 (77%), SCBCD 5 (85%)
