Anyone know where I can find statistics with regard to how many SCEAs out there. Specifically in North America/Canada. I'm just trying to determine if there is any value to doing this and that's one of the determining factors.
Appreciate it.

To answer your question, Sun doesn't release statistics about their certifications. The informal answer I was given, about three years ago, is that the takers of SCEA amount to roughly 1% of Sun's certification candidates. (And I think that figure makes sense, since it is the elite level certification from Sun and most folks taking their exams are going after the developer ones.) No idea, though, on what percentage of those pass.

Mmmmm, if that's the case - even with a good margin of error - it's definitely worth it. Don't see a reason really why they wouldn't publish such information. I would imagine it would be beneficial to the industry in general.

So the 1% figure is the only estimate out there?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
