Can we give multiple options to achieve one thing?

Hi,

In the assignment exam we as architects are required to propose a solution to achieve the requirement.

Is it is okay to give 2 solutions for the same requirement?

Such as, if "xxxx" is done then the requirement "this" can be fulfilled by using "a, b, and c"
Alternatively "THAT system" can be augmented using "@#$%" so that the in the "system-being-architected" the requirement "this" can be acheived using "d, e and f"

I am really in a dilema as I feel both approaches are feasible (subject to appropriate assumptions), but then can we/ should we give both or only one?

Hi,

I think you have to propose only one solution. In the feasibility document you can give all possible option and explanation about why you selected particular solution.
