Hi guys, I am considering taking the SCEA as I wish to eventually move into an Architect role. But I am not sure if I am experienced enough. In short my experience - MSc in Software Engineering (Hons) - 1.5 Years working on Java/J2EE projectswith Oracle SQL - 1 year working on .NET Web Apps (mostly back-end and middle tier) with MS SQl - 6 months working in a Business Analyst role - Sun Certified Java Programmer (98%) - Sun Certified Java Developer (95%) - Sun Certified Business Components Developer (96%) I know my experience may not be sufficient, but I am passionate about software and have a good head for studying. Any thoughts would be appreciated, Alan

I think you are being really modest. In my opinion you have all credentails to think about this exam. The learning from studying for this exam will help you in a long way.
