Hi Guys,

I have few questions in my mind before getting into it let me introduce myself.
I have 4.5 years of professional experience and I have Completed SCJP 1.4 and SCWCD 1.4. I was working for a MNS in India(chennai) for 4 years and I did both the certifications there. And now for past few months i work for a product company in UK. It was easier for me to do the certifications in India as i knew most of the places and centers to do the certifications there.
But now i am very much new to UK.

So how to start for SCEA and where to start from??? (is there any online materials as books are bit costlier here???)
I need guidance on certification process in UK (like center details)
Is it ok to register for the certification when i come to India for vacation??

with regards,
Loks (SCJP, SCWCD)

One great place to start is reading through these forums!

Download the objectives and print them out. Google keywords in the objectives and make your own notes. Sun has lots of great, free information. In fact, much of the info on the design patterns and such is duplicated online and in book form, so you don't have to pay to get it!

Good luck!

Cheers.
