Hi Evelyn, Kathy and Berts, I have scheduled to take SCMAD beta on Feb 25, 2004, however, since it is a weekday, will you consider, like SCWCD beta, extends the period a bit so that we can have one more Sat and Sun to sit for the exam? Thanks. Nick.
Hi Nicholas, I talked with Evelyn this morning. At this point there is no plan to extend the deadline for the beta, Sun is getting a good healthy response! Evelyn indicated that she might review the issue in a week or two, but I would guess that there won't be an extension. (of course I've been wrong before, I just don't want anyone to be disapponted)
Spot false dilemmas now, ask me how!

Koool, can it just be extended just because people didnt have time to go through the stuff ??? 'Work expands to fill up the time' Did any one go for the Sun UK Tech Days on the 17th and 18th ??? I am planning to give it on the 25th, since that is the only day that I got 4hrs off from my office. Hey Kathy, how did you apply for a job at Sun ?
If the deadline is on weekend,I think more people will be glade. I vote to Feb. 29th

21st and 22nd is a weekend ...what are you talking about??? Sorry I am just being a little bit mean, not that I am going to pass with flying colors, but then too I feel that by shifting the deadline the exam looses its value, unless ofcourse Sun doesnt have enough number of guinea pigs for its beta then it definately needs to shift the exam.
I think it would be great to extend the date. I will be traveling that week and will have to take it tomorrow. Man, I am telling you its been hard trying to cram everything in, in just two and a half weeks. Rama
After studing for nearly 2 weeks (my exam will be tomorow), I don't think it's fair to extend the exam period. What about those who could not prepare? This is just beta exam, if not passing everyone can start preparing a little bit more aware of how the real exame would really be. My vote is to not extend. Sorry... s
