I just finished the test, and found it to be difficult. I am sure that I failed. There were a lot of questions that I haven't even seen covered on the discussions here. 1. Know the Class Hierarchies. 2. Know how MIDlets are installed and run. 3. Know all about every type of Connection andhow they work. 4. Know all the Exceptions and when they are thrown. 5. Push and Messaging are big on the exam. 6. A good amount on Higher and lower level API's 7. Know the Jad and manifest files by heart, and what happens with what. I can't think of anything more, except make sure you read the specs, some of the notes I now think are lacking in a lot of areas. I think all the areas where we expected questions weren't as many as I had hoped. I don't think my mock questions are any good now. Although I am sure one or two are ok. Mark
Thanks for sharing your experience! Anyway, you have done your utmost and the only thing you can do now is to wait for the result. There is still a chance the passing score may be low, say, like SCJP 1.4.
SCJP 1.4, SCWCD 1.3, SCBCD 1.3, SCMAD, SCDJWS

Hi Mark, I'm just off to do the exam myself ( T-90 minutes and counting ). Thanks for those words of encouragement If we haven't covered stuff in enough detail here, it's everybody's fault - including myself. I suppose one excuse would be that we only got confirmation two weeks before the exam and it's a lot of stuff to cover in such a short time. Well, time for me to go do the best I can. Bye, PS: just think how well prepared we can be for the real exam when it comes out
