I dunnoe why I lost 3 minutes, when I clicked the "start" button to begin the actual test(after the assessment survey)...
I got a lot of questions on WMA messaging as others. But as suggested by those, who took the exam before me, I tried hard on it and I did not have much problem on them.
But I am totally new to Push Registry and MMAPI. I guess I will lose a lot of marks in those areas. One suggestion from me is that try to memorize the minimum requirements of each specifications.... There are a lot of specific questions in the exam about the requirements in the specs... Sometimes such numbers indicating the requirement of a certain spec may make us confused...
Since I got a lot of XP on GUI stuff in SWING, the questions based on coding High Level and Low Level UI is not that difficult for me... But it's only for my case. Those who do not have any XP on UI programming might find it difficult.
I think I should stop my review on exam here.... Otherwise, my post will be .... Hope u guys understand...

Ha, I got the same situation with you about losing a couple of minutes after start. Anyway, it didn't hurt so much, so I ignored it.
As for my exam experience, I used around 2 hours 20 mins to finish all questions, 30 mins to review the marked questions and the rest to review all the questions again. I found it's hard to concentrate after 3-hours' struggle.
For the exam content, I recommend to put more effort and have a thorough understanding on the following areas:
1. Networking/Connection stuff with code (difficult for me)
2. Over The Air stuff
3. Wireless Message API (difficult for me)
4. Threading issues in many areas (WMA, Netowork, etc)
However, I found little questions about Canvas/GameCanvas and high-level vs low-level stuff. Weird.
For the UI parts, you at least need to study the big ones (Display, Game/Canvas, Grahpics, Item, Sprite, etc).
Also, I found 2 questions are not correctly asked or display error and 1 question is totally not related to J2ME scope.
Hope this help.
Now, it's time for me to have a party to celebrate the exam is done regardless of what the result is.
P.S. The title of exam program shows "Sun Certified Mobile Application Developer for J2EE 1.4"
