Good Morning Beta Testers, I just wanted to mention that it takes time to analyze 500+ beta testers scores and enter the scores in the database, so I appreciate your patience. The beta scores will be available on Friday, April 23, 2004. To see your score before receiving your score report in the mail, please go to the Integral7 website http://i7lp.integral7.com/sun or 2test.com. If you have any problems please send an email to sunbeta@prometric.com and they will help you. You will receive the hard copy score report in the mail, these will be sent out on Monday, April 26, 2004, it usually takes about 10 days in North America and 20 days outside of North America to receive . Please log on to the Integral7 site to ensure that we have your correct address on file. If you don't receive your score report in the next 4 weeks, please send an email to Sunbeta@prometric.com If you have any questions, please email me directly at evelyn.cartagena@sun.com. Thank you for participating!! Regards, Evelyn Cartagena Java Certification Program Manager

There's got to be an easier way to do it than manually entering everything. *chuckles* Maybe a cute little import-export application to manipulate the data, recalculate the score and spit it out to save you time, once the analysis is done. Who knows. BUT, definitely, thank you for the hard work. I'm looking forward (for good or ill) to Friday...

So... Will it be available on 12midnight April 23 or later?
And which time zone is that based on??? I hope the proper questions were thrown out... like the ones I got wrong! Thanks for all your hard work, Evelyn! We really appreciate you around here.

When I logon to see the SCMAD doesn't show up as half blue = "Enrolled and in progress for Certification Program" Does that mean anything? Like that my test isn't registered?

I think Evelyn's "April 23, 2004" is referring to US's timezome, GMT-6. So, from now on, still 1 hr to go. [ April 22, 2004: Message edited by: Ken Ho ]

Good morning everybody, as it seems I am the first one to report that the results are there - at least I can see that I have passed in the history. The certification progress is not yet updated, so keep patient...

I passed the Exam, how do I check the score? It just say "Grade: Passed" Thanks for everyone who has contributed their time to make the study guide, mock exams, and overall thanks to JavaRanch, all participants in the discussion forum of SCMAD, Sun Microsystems for offering the Beta exam. Good Days.
After a huge initial scare (in the Certifications list, the box is white), I found that I have passed, thanks to one of the ranchers who mentioned that he saw his results in the history. If you don't see your results in the Certifications page, please check in the history page Thanks again for all the ranchers who came together to get MAD! Sun Certified MAD

Thanks, Sathya. You made my day. I was scared at the beginning. Later I find out that I passed after reading your post. I am so glad. I have only spent one week on it. But thanks to my prior experience working on mobile device using C++ for a little while, I am finally a Sun Certified MAD.
will there be any books specifically for SCMAD like Head First to EJB and SCWCD books like that released in the near future?

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
