Yes, all the specification documents. This is where all the questions are written from.

Unfortunately, there isn't an SCMAD book out there yet.

To learn J2ME, Jonathan Knudsen's book from Apress is very good, but will not cover all the areas in the exam.

Really study JAD files, Security mechanisms, and how signed jars are installed. Then know the lcdui packages for Low and high level classes for GUIs.

Also how to create network conenctions, all the types, how they work, and the exceptions they throw.

There's no one good book right now... if your budget is limited the specs are good. If you can afford a few books, the Muchow book is a great intro / overview book, but it's a little out of date. The Knudsen book is spotty - good in some places, vague in others. Michael Yuan's book is great in general, although it doesn't cover many areas of the exam - its got a different focus - but where it does cover exam topics it does a good job.
