Hi, folks!

I'm sad, vary sad. I won't talk to anybody today. I faild. I marked 50%, 34/68 questions, the passing score is 55%. The exam is very difficult! I studied by Wireless Java: Developing with J2ME Second Edition, read the Exam Notes that I got through www.j2mecertification.com, and many materials from java.sun.com. I also developer some application and I have a project working with J2ME.

The most difficult part, and most asked for, is Game API. But it was not my problem. I will give you my marks:

1 - JTWI: 25%
2 - CLDC (1.0/1.1): 57%
3 - Security (both CLCD and MIDP): 85%
4 - Networking: 57%
5 - Application Model / Delivery / Lifecycle / Provisioning: 33%
6 - MIDP Persistent Storage: 66%
7 - Push Registry: 16%
8 - MIDP UI API: 50%
9 - MIDP Game API: 75%
10 - Media using MIDP 2.0 and the MMAPI 1.1: 60%
11 - WMAPI 1.1: 16%

I failed in JTWI because incompetence, there are many, many, many articles to read. But, I didn't give a second glance because I thought it was so moth asked for.

About the others, I just have some articles got through Sun Microsystems. I was not enough. I'm sad, lads But I'm not defeated!!! I have another Voucher and I'll take the exam next month! So, this time, I'll break him!!! The exam will be dead!!!

Thanks to all,
Wilder C. Rodrigues

I made some typing errors in the last topic. Maybe because of sadness. Sorry about.

Wilder, I highly suggest reading the specifications, and highlighting what you remember you were tested on, or might be tested on and write programs in that area. It really helps to see all that in action to better understand it.

When I was writing questions, I went through the specification and highlighted the areas I wanted to write a question on, then started doing coding, it really helped in clarifying what was written in the Specs. With that knowledge, there won't be any questions that throw you off guard. I guarantee it.

Next time, for sure you will make it. I've gone through three times the material still not feel confident. It really take time to memorize stuff. CAN'T be rush!

I agree with Mark's approach as well... The specs are basic reading requirements for the exam... I only use Specs and I do use Jonathan's book as a reference...

Well, don't be discourage... Try and beat it...
