Hi Edward, Nice to see some one is studying for the SCMAD, good to have some kind of a company to do the exam, these days, I am also studying. Specifications are a must according to what I have heard. We should be thorough in; JTWI 1.0 CLDC 1.1 & and the difference between CLDC 1.0 MIDP 2.0 WMAPI 1.1 MMAPI 1.1 You can get a good idea from this article also,
SCJP 1.4, SCMAD 1.0<br />SCWCD, SCBCD (in progress)

You do not need to read CLDC 1.0 at all... The difference between CLDC 1.0 and 1.1 are there in CLDC 1.1 Specification... Well, it cancertainly make you waste less amount of time to read....

Hi, Yes yes, not many are doing it, I don't think why its happening like that, I love mobile programming and I am simply going for it, Some thing which you learn will never be a waste. I am sure SCMAD will help me in the future. So let's do it!!!

I have been browing threads here for a long time. I want to take SCMAD exam very much. But it is pity that there is no book aiming at it. I believe if there were a text book for SCMAD, more people would like to take this exam. When will we get one???

I don't hear anything from people out here that there will be a SCMAD exam-specific book soon... I do hope that there will be one in the future...

Hello,
I am at the same stage too. Except the official docs and APIs, I have been trying to collect the mock exams as well.
I've gone through some threads about exam preparation, which are quite helpful to me. However, I am still struggling with picking up the knowledge efficiently and effectively.
I would be appreciate if anyone could give me some suggestions on doing self-test without the Whizlabs SCMAD simulator. Thanks in advance!

I found the 28 questions for SCMAD mock you contributed on JDiscuss. They are very useful to me. Thanks a lot!
I could not find the exact answers for these though. Could you please give me any hints about it? Thank you.

Hi All, I think, not having a book on SCMAD is in a way great, it is so challenging. You have to sacrifice a lot to learn, I personally believe, when you learn it by youself, you remember it well too. True that you have to spend more time, and I am sure it will never be a waste of time. I think with the help that we get from the Ranchers, it will not be an impossible task to pass the exam. I am planning to do the exam with in 1 1/2 months. I want to get MAD quickly

I'll ask the site admin about that... I hope we will take care of this issue asap...
It's good to know that they are helpful... There will be more surprising stuff from Enthuware sooner or later...
