Hello People ! My english is very bad, ok ? I have questions about MIDlet life cycle. Are there many rules to write the methods startApp() , pauseApp() and destroyApp() ? example : can I call the method notifyPaused() in the startApp() ? the exam cover that type of questions ?

You just need to know what they are and how they work in an application. That's it. If you just understand the principle of the MIDlet Life Cycle, you will be able to the questions related to this topic for sure...

The best resources for now is the specifications. If you understand the concept that is explained in the specifications then you will be able to do the exam....

Yes, you can say that. If you just understand what the method is for, it'll be alright. But make sure you read the description of the method in the specification and understand the concept. It won't hurt. It will be a benefit for your J2ME knowledge as well.

Learning the knowledge through the certification preparation process is very important. Don't just learn to pass the exam. Passing the certifications with efficient knowledge is better than passing the certifications with just enough knowledge to pass the exam, even with flying colors.
