Hi friends, I have done my B-Tech in ECE and currently I have 2 years of exp in Java/J2EE.I have done my SCJP,SCWCD and SCBCD.Now I want to do SCMAD and shift to the mobile industry since I am an ECE student I have a lots of interest in it.Is it the right move? Please advice me
I mean, I took the time to learn Java ME and I'm just starting now professionally to use it at the office - I've convinced my supervisors to let me develop a project using the toolkit. I think it's certainly worthwhile learning - most things are - but the question is finding a job in the space.
If you're motivated to learn it, I'd say go ahead and learn it. There are some excellent books on Java ME out there (if you search the forum, you'll find references to them), and it's not all that much more difficult than JSP/Servlet to learn..
