J2ME clarification please

Hi, Anyone tell me a solution for this problem i am facing.

While i am connecting an application from my mobile to the web browser link virtually not a real mobile, I am following the SAMS 21 days teach yourself J2ME I am getting the connection could not be established error. Can any one help me in this. Thanks in advance

Is your mobile phone accessible to other Internet resources rather than the Web?

You need to make sure that a connection to the outside network is open.

Since I don't have that book, I won't be able to pin-point where you should configure to make the application work.

BTW, someone who is in general J2ME forum might have read the book that you are talking about. You might want to post this same message there too...
