I'd like to share some doubts with the comunity...
I achieve recently the SCWCD certification and now am thinking about what to invest in.
On university I'm studying J2ME, and I think that could be good to study deeper by my on and maybe try the SCMAD. But, watching the trends of the technology, the growth of cellphones and palms with Windows or Linux, I became unsafe about the future of J2ME, suspecting that possibly these devices will soon be able to run J2SE.
Does my doubts mean something real or am I just unsafe without a good reason?

Yes, it will be good. Even if the phones use Linux as OS they will still support J2ME. As J2ME is the most widely supported programming language for cell phones, due to benefits from Java.
