Phone Contacts

Hi All,

I want to do an application that can read the contacts in both my phone
memory and my sim memory, can someone help with how to goabout this.

I also want to know if I can monitor the thread that adds/deletes/updates a contact on my phone

some code snippet will do a lot of good
